You’re Invited to Come and Play
Planting Your Seeds - An Intentions Playshop for 2011
Presented by Center for Richer Living and Golden Gate Center for Spiritual Living
Facilitated by Rev. Katherine Q. Revoir

The Universe is a “YES” machine, but it needs something to say yes to. When we make a plan, we are primarily using our logical and analytical left-brain. With a plan in place, we can more easily use our right brain, which allows us more creativity and an easier access to our intuition. You are invited fire up BOTH sides of your brain and kick off the New Year with a playshop where we will give our brain a plan, and have fun doing it!

Using creative visuals, games, introspection and improv, we will:

  • Use spiritual principles to turn our intentions into experience and form. We’ll plant the seeds of our wildest dreams for 2011 by exploring our deepest intent.
  • Joyfully express our spontaneous, multi-dimensional selves through movement, games, and creative play.
  • Hobnob with a delightful community of metaphysicians
  • Enjoy a delicious lunch that we bring for ourselves

“Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.” ~ Lewis Carroll

Rev. Deborah Johnson

Who, ME? Exploring the Role of Judgment on our Spiritual Path
A 4-week class, January 19- February 9, 7-9:30 p.m.
Sunrise Center, Corte Madera, CA

Do you ever have a hard time seeing the face of Spirit in other people or yourself? Do you sometimes venture into the land of self-righteousness, lingering with the sense of superiority that dwells there? Want to explore and transform this behavior and have a good laugh while doing it?

In this 4-week informal and interactive playgroup, we will come together with like-minded people in an atmosphere of safety, fun, creativity, and love. We’ll set clear intentions, explore our relationship with our judgment, learn from each other’s insights, and take ourselves lightly, using games, humor, and improv.

All mystical paths include a common element: letting go of whatever behavioral choices we make that block us from being a channel for divine Love, healing, and prosperity. We often wonder why we are missing the  boat (abundance, love, career, etc,)  yet are unaware of how our judgmental attitudes pinch us off from the goodness of Life. We can’t align with our inherent good when we resent, blame, or need others to change their behavior in order to gain our acceptance or approval. Judging reveals the “Iceberg Effect:” our judgmental behavior toward others is the tip of the iceberg (the top 15%), and the rest that is unseen (the 85% below the surface) represents how much we judge ourselves.

Judging includes:

  • Resenting, blaming others or ourselves for behavior we believe is unacceptable
  • Resistance to forgive ourself and others
  • The need to feel “better than” or “less than” others - getting an illusory feeling of satisfaction from being “right” (or “wrong”)
  • People pleasing, thinking we know what’s best for others, enabling, rescuing, and other codependent behaviors
  • Victim consciousness and self-pity

“In this class I learned to stop writing operas about what I thought other people should be doing. This freed me up to express more of my authentic self, all done in an atmosphere of love and support… and, it was fun!” ~ Gail Garvey

Class: Who ME? Exploring the Role of Judgment on our Spiritual Path

Money, Metaphysics and The Meaning of Life - A TELEclass for Teachers -
An 8-week TELEclass* for Teachers. Choose from 2 classes: beginning Thursdays, Feb 10 or Wednesdays, beginning Feb 16

Are you a teacher interested in developing or sharpening your teaching skills while embodying the principles of abundance? I love to teach teachers, and on Wednesday, February 16, or Thursday, February 10 (whichever evening the majority chooses), we'll begin my 8-week TELEclass*, Money, Metaphysics and The Meaning of Life, a class for New Thought ministers and practitioners that you participate in while learning teaching tools. If you choose to teach this class yourself, it will help guide your community to take action on what it means to be a happy giver.

The curriculum includes creative visuals, right-brained plexercises (play exercises), and the book Spiritual Economics by Eric Butterworth. This is my favorite book on the specifics of how to build a consciousness of BEING the abundance we already are, and acting accordingly.

You may want to schedule to teach the class yourself shortly after we start. In this way, you are getting teaching support while you are teaching the class. Here's what Rev. Tim Schubert said about a class we just finished for ministers and practitioners:

"I started teaching the class Coming Home to Your Authentic Self at our center in Mexico two weeks after I began Rev. Katherine's TELEclass for teachers. The course was excellent and the discussion and demonstration of 'teaching moments' superb.  Rev. Katherine is a fine teacher and skillful at breaking down challenging situations, which helped us see everything in front of us as our spiritual practice. I highly recommend her courses both for the spiritual deepening from the content and the opportunity to improve your teaching skills."

Using right-brained plexercises (play exercises) and your inherent wisdom, you will participate in the class as a student while learning general tools for teaching classes and workshops. You will also get specific tools for facilitating this class (I have taught it 11 times) or other classes on abundance principles.

Some teaching topics we'll cover are:

  • creating an environment that is safe for students to share honestly and deeply
  • the importance of setting and tracking intentions
  • prioritizing your agenda and class time
  • reading the energy of the room
  • presenting creative materials and experientials that target different learning styles: auditory, kinesthetic/tactile, and visual.
  • helping students to learn from each other
  • handling resistance and discomfort in the room
  • giving God a "seat in the circle" of your heart
  • what to do when you don't know what to do (or say)

If you are interested in teaching this Money Metaphysics curriculum, I usually charge $15 per student, but I'm offering the curriculum free as a one-time opportunity for you to test-drive it to see how it goes in your community.

Here's details about our February TELEclass. At the bottom of this email (in red) is the flyer copy that gives details of the class - this is what you, as the facilitator, would be sending out as promotional material if you decide to teach it.

Money, Metaphysics and The Meaning of Life
An 8-Week Teleclass* for Practitioners, Ministers, & Teachers of Truth

Facilitated by Rev. Katherine Revoir

This fun and informal class is appropriate for teachers of truth at all levels. It's fine to register if you don't plan on teaching, but I will give preference to those who intend to teach. When you register, I will email you a copy of the curriculum, including the teaching notes and agendas. The class will have a maximum of 18 participants. If there are enough sign-ups, I'll offer the class BOTH Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Dates and Time: Either 8 Wednesdays, Feb 16 - April 13 (skipping The Gathering on March 2) or 8 Thursdays, Feb 10 - April 7th (skipping March 3), - 6:00-8:30 p.m. PST. Choose whichever evening works best for you.

Cost: The registration fee for this class is $60 and an agreement to share (tithe) 10% of UNexpected good (including UNexpected income) during the course, plus the cost of two books: Spiritual Economics by Eric Butterworth ($13.95) and The Abundance Book by John Randolf Price (not necessary but preferable...at Amazon for $7.00). Please read pages 1-48 of Spiritual Economics before the first class. Sign up early, as there is reading to do and intentions to set before the first class. The tithe money goes to Center for Richer Living.

To Register: email katherineQ@RicherLiving.org or call 415 381-9161- Leave your phone number and which evening works best for you: Wednesdays, Thursdays, or either.

Here's a testimonial:
"I really enjoyed this class and was surprised at how unaware I was of my unexpected income and good. The way you established the virtual classroom gave order and a relaxed structure to our sessions. I appreciated your honesty about teaching what you need to learn. I always thought that I had to be perfect in order to present something, so I just waited instead of taking action. Thank you for modeling being the action." ~ Toni Cormier, RScP

*About Teleclasses: Teleclasses are easy on the commute, and you can be in your bunny slippers! After you register, you will get a phone number to call and access code, which will get you into the group phone call. It’s easy! Money, Metaphysics, and The Meaning of Life
Facilitated by Rev. Katherine Q. Revoir

Prosperity is an inside job. In this eight-week class we will set intentions, use creative visuals to simplify principles of abundance, have fun, pray, and learn to experience our work as a calling.

In this fun and informal 8-week class you will:

  • Develop a consciousness of God as the ONLY Source and Substance of everything, from parking places to life purpose
  • Take your faith to a deeper level and build your life on a foundation of Spirit as you demonstrate how the metaphysical becomes physical.
  • Use abundance principles to actualize your intentions and expand prosperity consciousness. As Eric Butterworth says, “We don’t see things as they are, we see them as WE are.”

We will be reading the book, Spiritual Economics by Eric Butterworth and the small but magnificent book, The Abundance Book by John Randolph Price. It is a forty-day prosperity program that is powerful and transformative. Join us as we move from the concept of making a living to making a life.

Looking Up in a Down Economy
A 3-week Teleclass* - 3 Wednesdays: July 14, 21, and 28th - 6:00-7:30p.m. PST
Facilitated by Rev. Katherine Q. Revoir

Are you looking at the economy and wondering how you will hold onto your spiritual hat? Do you feel fear of your financial future creeping around as you watch the news?

In this 3-week class we will play with the old Sufi phrase, “Trust in Allah AND tie up your camel.” We will apply timeless and unchanging spiritual principles that guide us as we grow the seeds of our intentions and activate the Law of Attraction. Non-metaphysicians look to the physical world for physical solutions. Metaphysicians look within to their consciousness for solutions. We will also tie up our camels using tools that are the practical part of supporting our spiritual deepening and being good stewards of our money. Informal and supportive group interaction adds the elements of fun and community.

Some areas we’ll cover as we maintain our sense of humor:

  • We’re not our stuff, so let’s not define ourselves by what we have
  • Looking at where we are financially, where we want to be, and taking physical and metaphysical action steps to get there
  • Identifying, prioritizing, and solidifying our spiritual investments
  • Simple tools for creating a budget, and ideas on easy ways to cut expenses and spending
  • Steeping ourselves in God as our true Source

3-Week Teleclass*: Looking Up in a Down Economy
When: 3 Wednesdays: July 14, 21, and 28th - 6:00-7:30p.m. PST
Where: It’s a Teleclass*, so wherever you have a phone

HERE’S A TESTAMONIAL:
“I had a very positive experience in this class, learning to not get caught up in the news, other people's experiences, and my own emotional chatter. There were many valuable exercises that made me aware of my negative patterns and helped me see that I am the abundance I am looking for. I was refreshed and invigorated by my own power and personal growth.” Kim Kreis

A Santa Cruz class at Inner Light Ministries:
Getting Off the Victim Triangle and Into the Win-win Circle
Facilitated by: Rev. Katherine Revoir and Valerie Joi Fiddmont
Saturday October 17, 9:30am - 5:00p.m.

If you’ve ever felt the need to fix or change others, then judged them, and then wondered why you felt angry, invisible, or unappreciated, then you were probably on the Victim Triangle. The three stations of the triangle are Rescuer, Persecutor, and Victim (aka Hero, Villain, Victim). This playshop will teach you a proactive approach for transforming any cycle of negative ego into the Win-win Circle, where non-judgment, forgiveness, and spiritual self-care prevail.

Here you make a shift from being dependent on outside sources for power and fulfillment to relying on your own sense of Self.

Using creative visuals, role-playing, and group discussion, you will:

  • Identify the behaviors of the triangle and transform them from Victim to Win-win
  • Learn the difference between giving from the heart and giving from obligation.
  • Learn tools for staying open and receptive to grow from any situation
  • Become more loving by setting clear boundaries with yourself and others.
  • “The surest way to make ourselves crazy is to get involved in other people’s business, & the quickest way to become sane & happy is to tend to our own affairs.” Melody Beattie

“Whatever you push against will stick to you.”   ~ Rev. Katherine

Valerie Joi Fiddmont is the Minister of Music and Arts for Inner Light Ministries, where she is the founding director of the Inner Light Choir and creator of the ILM Singing Circle Music Ministry Experience. As a New Thought Practitioner with an MBA from Rice University, she is grounded in the practical and the divine. Her CD of original compositions, Singing the Sacred Yes, was released in 2006.

What Is Physical Healing and What’s In It For ME?
Facilitated by Marinda Freeman, RScP

Physical healing is an inside job.  The foundation of healing is doing the inner work to know who you truly are as an empowered spiritual being.  This understanding is what allows for healing to occur.

In this 3-week class we will:

  • Set personal intentions for the class
  • Understand healing modalities that will assist in directing your thought and awareness in self-healing
  • Learn the true meaning of intention as it relates to your own physical healing
  • Experience a greater clarity that there is nothing to be healed outside of your consciousness and your belief.
  • Learn practical tools and practices to use in your physical laboratory . . . YOU!

We will explore healing practices such as prayer, EFT, grounding, mindfulness and Christian Science, and use these practices in the manifestation of our intentions.

When: Wednesdays, September 16, 23, 30, 6:30 to 8:30 pm
Where: Our Sausalito Classroom,  3030 Bridgeway, Suite 325
Investment: $ 60.00

To register, contact Marinda at 415-924-9145  marinda@mfproductions.net

Marinda Freeman has always been interested in physical healing. She was raised as a Christian Scientist and has healing herself of physical challenges since she was a child. She continues to explore different avenues of healing, and is delighted to share what she has learned.

“Healing is nothing but the restoration of the memory of wholeness.”
Deepak Chopra.
